Office Volunteers
We are always looking for help with our website, warehouse organization, grant writing, data entry and general office work. If you are not comfortable working on the construction site or prefer to join our team here in the office we’d love to have your help!
Current Opportunities:
Join our Project Playhouse crew as a regular volunteer. We’re looking for a dedicated, fun volunteer who is willing to help lead a crew of volunteers a few times a month in the construction of playhouses which are built and donated to children’s charity organizations. We’ll provide all of the training necessary! Volunteer Committees
We have a number of volunteer committees that are always looking for new members. Committee List:
- Construction Committee
The Construction Committee meets once a month to discuss ways to reduce construction costs and improve efficiency. This group, with a wide range of construction experience, helps analyze plans and procure in-kind materials and services. - Family Selection Committee
The Family Selection Committee helps identify applicants as future Habitat homeowners. They conduct interviews, attend home visits, and make sure the applicants meet all qualifications. - Family Partnership Committee
The Family Partnership Committee is a group is volunteers who help current homeowners and selected families transition into homeownership. These volunteers work closely with each family to help answer questions and solve problems that first time homeowners may encounter.
