Habitat for Humanity Silicon Valley was formed in 1986 and is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Habitat for Humanity, a faith-based organization that welcomes people of all beliefs to join in its mission, is committed to eliminating poverty housing throughout the world. Our mission is to transform families and strengthen communities by building decent, affordable housing for long-term home ownership. We envision Habitat for Humanity Silicon Valley developing into a vibrant, growing producer of affordable housing.

How can you help Habitat?
It takes money, materials and people power to build homes. Donating to fund home construction makes sense. Thanks to volunteers, Habitat for Humanity has low overhead costs so most funds go toward building. And donations to Habitat for Humanity help more than just one family. Read more

There are many ways to be involved: working on a construction site, helping in the office, serving on a committee, and/or helping to plan events. Without people like you, we could not bring the dream of a decent, affordable home to families in need. You can participate in this worldwide effort to solve the poverty housing crisis.Read more
Homeownership
Habitat for Humanity Silicon Valley offers a hand up not a hand out to families with very low incomes by selling affordable homes in the Santa Clara County. Habitat homes are sold roughly at the cost of construction for 0% interest, no money down for a 30-year mortgage term.Read more
