We accept:

  • Major Appliances (must be under 6 years old; must be working and in no need of repair; slight dents/scratches are OK)
  • Kitchen and Bathroom Cabinets
  • Plumbing Fixtures (Kitchen & Bath)
  • Lighting Fixtures
  • Sinks
  • Toilets (Must be new or extremely clean)
  • Tile (floor: minimum quantity of 20 sq./ft.; counter: minimum quantity of 10 sq./ft.)
  • Tools

 

We CANNOT accept:

  • Lumber
  • Hardware
  • Doors & Windows
  • Trim & Moulding
  • Paint & Liquids
  • Plumbing & Piping (other than kitchen and bath fixtures)
  • Electrical (other than light fixtures)
  • Furniture
  • Misc. Home Decor
  • Built-in Cabinetry (cabinets w/out backing)
  • Outdoor Living
  • Brick & Block
  • ANY Children’s Items
  • Clothing
  • Mattresses
  • Air Conditioning & Heating Units*
  • Roofing Material*
  • Insulation*

 

Exceptions (we can accept):

  • We can accept AC & Heating Units if they are new & unused
  • Roofing Material in quantities sufficient to roof a 1000 sq./ft. house
  • New Insulation in quantities sufficient to insulate 100 linear feet of walls or 500 sq./ft. of attic space

 

Additional Guidelines for Acceptable donations:

Major Appliances

  • All appliances must be fewer than 6 years old and in near perfect cosmetic condition. Interiors must be clean. Perfect operating condition with all parts and hardware included that are necessary for operation.

Kitchen and Bathroom Cabinets

  • Visually they must have near perfect cosmetics and should not be damaged. All parts and hardware should be included that are necessary for use.

Plumbing Fixtures / Sinks

  • All items must be perfectly clean without damage (no chips, cracks or stains). Fixtures must include all parts necessary for use and be in perfect operating condition. Faucets and other hardware must have good cosmetics without damage and have all parts necessary for operation.

Lighting Fixtures

  • All light fixtures must have near perfect cosmetics without damage. Fixtures must include all parts necessary for use and be in perfect operating condition.

Toilets

  • Must either be new or in excellent condition and very clean

Tile

  • Floor: minimum quantity of 20 sq./ft.; Counter: minimum quantity of 10 sq./ft.

Tools

  • Tools must be undamaged and be in perfect operating condition.
